Bold Move

I”m so proud of myself for going to work yesterday with my face like this. I was so close to calling in sick but I went to work instead and faced everyone looking at me funny with the burn marks on my face.

Round 2 today.

Peel

I went for a chemical peel today because my doctor was raving about how it would get rid of all the scars on my face. The procedure is that you pay $150, and he pours acid on your face and you keep it on as long as you can tolerate it, 15-20 minutes. The longer you keep it on the better the effect will be. So he kept coming back every 5-10 minutes to see if I was okay and he was like, “you’re getting a great affect on your cheeks and your forehead”. After i’m done, he washes my face and he’s like “you’re going to hate me” and so I was like “why? do I look bad?” and he’s like “wellll…..”. When your doctor says you look bad, that’s not a good sign. So I went to the mirror, and ‘bad’ does not explain it. My face was inflamed from burns. He started pointing out patches of burnt skin that were perfect. 

All I could think of was that I really didnt want to go out in public after that. It looks like I have a huge sun burn on my face and I work tomorrow, great! 

I’m brown… we dont get sunburns, we get tans.

Sitting with my boyfriend so he doesn’t pull an all nighter by himself :)
